How to Make Soothing Bath Salts

Try this easy recipe for relaxing bath salts that relieve muscle aches. Bath Salts also make a fantastic and economical gift.

Things You’ll Need:

• Epsom Salts
• Lavender Essential Oil, or essential oil of your choice
• Clean Jar with Lid

1. In a bowl combine 2 cups Epsom Salts and 6 to 7 drops of Lavender Essential Oil.
2. Place salts in a clean jar and close the lid. Shake to mix. The longer you let the salts sit before using, the more scent the salts will absorb, however the salts can bey used immediately upon mixing.
3. Draw your bath. Add 1/2 cup of the prepared salts to bath water. Stir slightly to help the bath salts dissolve. Relax and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

• If colored salts are desired you may add a few small drops of food coloring and shake to mix.
• Dress up the jar with colored ribbon share bath salts. They make a most appreciated gift.
• Keep out of reach of children.
