When reading, writing, listening to, or speaking German (Deutsch), you will eventually encounter the subject of food. Knowing German words for various types of fruits will certainly come in handy. Also, familiarity with the various fruit words in German may particularly help you when preparing a meal from a recipe or when ordering a meal at a restaurant. Becoming proficient at basic and common German vocabulary will help when traveling to Germany (Deutschland) or other German-speaking countries. Add the letters in parentheses to make the word plural
