How to save on fabric softener

I love the smell and soft feeling that fabric softener adds to my clean laundry; However, I do not like the high prices they charge for it in stores. I have found a way to get the most out of my favorite name-brand softener. I know a way to make a small 1Ltr bottle last me all month long allowing me to use as liberally as I wish. This "how to" saves me alot of money a month without any sacrifices of choosing a less favored brand. It even cuts down on drying time saving me more money. I shared this with several friends and they are hooked on this "how-to".

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 2-empty 2Ltr bottles (2 old 2Ltr fabric softener bottles work perfectly)
  • 1-1Ltr bottle of ULTRA-STRENGTH fabric softener
Step1
Divide your 1Ltr bottle of ULTRA-STRENGTH fabric softener by pouring one 1/2 of it into each of the 2Ltr bottles.
Step2
Now add water to each of the 2Litr bottles filling them to the top. You should now have two full bottles.
Step3
Give each bottle a shake to mix well and Viola! you now have 4Ltrs of REGULAR-STRENGTH fabric softener.
Step4
Use as you would any other fabric softener.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure the fabric softener you're diluting is ULTRA-STRENGTH
  • Once diluted, it works slightly stronger than most regular-strength fabric softeners, just give the bottle a shake before each use.
  • Compare: Look at past receipts to see how much you used to spend on fabric softener, to show how much money you're saving now. You will feel happy, shocked, and amazed all at once
  • Can't think of a single one.
