How to make Mac dogs for the kids

Two things a kid loves most mixed in one delicious easy dish. A meal so simple and quick taking less then twenty minutes to prepare.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Kraft macaroni and cheese dinner
  • Package of hot dogs
  • Lawry seasoning salt
  • Cookie Cutter (optional)
  1. Step 1

    Follow the directions on the back of the Kraft macaroni and cheese Box, or your favorite mac & cheese.

  2. Step 2

    While the macaroni cooks it is time to prep your hotdogs.
    * Place your hotdogs on a microwave dish
    * Cook on high in microwave until hot for two to three minutes (Microwave time may vary).
    * Slice or split hotdog to use cookie cutter for the making of dog shapes.
    place to the side until macaroni is done.

  3. Step 3

    * Pour hot tender macaroni into a colander and rinse in hot water
    * Pour macaroni into medium bowl
    * Add sliced/or dog shapes to the macaroni
    * Squeeze in the cheese package
    * shake Lawrys seasoning salt for taste
    * Stir until creamy
    Then sit back and watch the smiles on your little one face.

Tips & Warnings
  • remember chop hotdog pieces smaller for little children
  • Hot dogs have sodium so be sparingly with the lawrys
  • remember cookie cutter shape dogs brings fun to your child's dining experience.
  • do not overcook macaroni
