Beer Pong is a classic college party game that is simple to play and requires a short list of necessary items. However, after setting up the cups on the table, players may disagree as to how to start the game. According to the official rules, the process is quick and easy.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Ping Pong Balls
  • 22 Plastic Cups
  • Case of Beer
  • Long Table
  1. Step 1

Fill each cup with the appropriate amount of beer and arrange them on the table.

  2. Step 2

Stand beside your opponent at one end of the beer pong table. Leave enough room so that the two of you can move your arms freely.

  3. Step 3

Take one of the two ping pong ball for yourself and give the other to your opponent.

  4. Step 4

Count to three. Each player then bounces the ball straight into the air off of the table. The goal is to bounce your ball higher than your opponent without hitting the ceiling.

  5. Step 5

Watch to see whose ball bounces the highest. The player who bounced his ball the highest gets to take the first shot and start the beer pong game.

Tips & Warnings
  • Have a third party stand off to the side and watch the balls bounce. This should ensure objectivity if you and your friends are overly competitive.
  • Don't hit the ceiling with your ping pong ball. Hitting the ceiling will be an automatic loss and you'll go second in the game.
