Matching shoes with a tuxedo is pretty basic. You really only need to decide on a particular design style of finish on the shoe. If you don't have a pair of nice dress shoes, you can rent them from the tuxedo rental store. Here are some way to match shoes with a tuxedo

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tuxedo shoes
  1. Step 1

Go with a traditional shoe. The traditional highly polished hard leather shoe with a curved toe is a classic look. This shoe matches any tuxedo style.

  2. Step 2

Choose a pair of wing-tipped shoes. If don't want a plain traditional shoe but don't want a trendy shoe either, get wing tips. These shoes are also considered a classic men's shoe design and the detailing adds a little more interest to the shoe.

  3. Step 3

Get a matte finished shoe. If you aren't a fan of the shiny, high gloss finish of traditional tuxedo shoes, get a pair with a dull or matte finish.

  4. Step 4

Go trendy. When you don't like the traditional shoe design of the wing tip or plain tuxedo shoe, get shoes that are currently in style.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always pay the extra protection charge for your tux and your shoes if you are renting them. This charge is minimal and covers any accidental stains or damage done to your tuxedo or shoes while in use by you.
