Use media to create your PulpMotion slideshow. Photos, video and even live screen shots are usable in PulpMotion to create the perfect presentation. PulpMotion makes adding media easy with its drag-and-drop enabled templates.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the PulpMotion project.

  2. Step 2

Check the "Auto Update" box directly under the right corner of the slideshow working area. Look directly up from the white tool bar that runs across the bottom of the working area if you can't find it.

  3. Step 3

Open the file of the media you want to use. It's easiest to work with media files when you can see them, so make sure your computer displays the media thumbnails.

  4. Step 4

Decide on a photo or movie file to use.

  5. Step 5

Drag and drop the media file into one of the blank boxes at the very bottom of the slideshow working screen. Click on the file's thumbnail and hold the mouse button down as you drag the image onto the PulpMotion working screen. Let the mouse button go when you position the thumbnail over one of the blank boxes at the bottom of the working area.

  6. Step 6

Click "Preview" in the white tool bar running along the bottom of the slideshow working area and PulpMotion displays each of your photos in the working area one at a time.

  7. Step 7

Delete a photo. Click on it and hold the mouse button down while you drag the image out of the PulpMotion working area. The file is then removed from sight.

Tips & Warnings
  • The system requirements for PulpMotion are: Mac OS X 10.4.4 or later; 1-GHz G4, G5, or Intel-based; Mac 512 MB of RAM (1 GB recommended); Quartz Extreme compatible card (all recent Macs have this); and an iSight camera or DV camera (optional).
  • PulpMotion is free to try and can be purchased after the trial period for a single user license.
