Step 1
Decide what type of shoe you're shopping for, or just browse the Internet for different shoes. Write down the name, style and any other attribute of the shoe, including the price and website where the shoe is for sale.
-
Step 2
Go to a comparison shopping website, type in the specifics of the shoe you want and compare the different stores. When comparing, make sure you look at the shipping costs of the different stores. If you find a shoe for 10$ cheaper but the shipping is 19.95, you'll end up paying more for the cheaper shoe.
-
Step 3
Visit coupon code sites that give you the coupon codes for special online deals. Depending on the code, you can get the shipping costs waived, a certain percentage off, a certain dollar amount off or a reduced price on a second purchase.
-
Step 4
Use online reward program points towards purchasing a pair of shoes by redeeming your points. If you want a really popular shoe that isn't available online for a discount, turn in your points to get online dollars toward your purchase.
-
Step 5
Check out online auction sites for the shoes you want. Many times, online auction sites have the cheapest price. If you don't mind a gently worn shoe, sometimes you can buy shoes for half off the retail price, and they've only been worn once or twice. However, you do have to watch shipping charges on auction sites, just like you do on store sites.

on 10/15/2008 a good site to use is Ebates and then access various websites through it, they offer you cash back on the amount spent... I ordered all my new appliances for my kitchen online through Home Depot and got 5% cash back, in addition to HOme Depot's online sale price.
