How to Make Italian Seasoned Chicken

If you need a hearty meal in a hurry, you can't go wrong with a steaming platter of Italian seasoned chicken served over hot, buttery pasta. Add a fresh vegetable and some crusty garlic bread, and you're got a delicious and satisfying dinner. This recipe serves 4.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Cooked pasta

Step1
Make a marinade by combining the extra virgin olive oil with the Italian seasoning and garlic in a shallow dish.
Step2
Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Turn the chicken over, recover and refrigerate another 15 minutes.
Step3
Place the chicken breasts in a greased casserole dish and discard the marinade.
Step4
Bake the chicken at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes or until the breasts are no longer pink inside.
Step5
Cook the angel hair pasta or fettuccine noodles according to the directions on the package, and place the cooked noodles in a large serving dish. Toss with olive oil and butter.
Step6
Slice the chicken and serve over the hot pasta.

Tips & Warnings

  • Serve a bowl of freshly grated Parmesan cheese along with the Italian seasoned chicken.
