How to Perform a Ninja Infiltration on a Mission

Ninja infiltration uses stealth to succeed at missions when you are outnumbered or need to get in and out undetected. You may need specialized training for missions that require climbing or possibly hand-to-hand combat. A ninja infiltration is often performed as a solo mission, so success is dependent on you, and you alone.

1. Plan your mission during the cover of night. Wear all black to help conceal yourself. Wear a mask securely around your face to conceal your identity. Put soft-soled boots on your feet to me virtually silent. Attach spikes to the bottom of the boots if you need to climb a wall during your mission.

2. Arm yourself with weapons for silent hand-to-hand combat. A knife or sword is essential. Use mace to effectively blind your opponent. Ancient ninjas flung small hallowed out eggs filled with sand or metal dust at opponents' eyes.

3. Bring tools to gain entry into buildings and scale walls. The roof is often the best route to remain undetected.

4. Walk stealthily by keeping knees flexed and movements fluid. Distribute your weight on only one leg at all times. Keep your hands in front, with one slightly higher to silently move obstructions aside.

5. Use the ninja's arts of distraction such as voice impersonations to call people away from their posts so you can slip by.

6. Create noisy diversions during your withdrawal with smoke bombs or small explosives. Set these on time delay to draw guards away from your exit route.

Tips & Warnings

• Disguise your footprint if you must cross an area that might leave tracks. Attach a wooden block to the bottom of your feet to resemble animal tracks or even a child-size foot.

• Remember that stealth is more important than speed. Stop and hold your position if you accidentally create a noise.

• Leave everything exactly as you found it if you want the mission to go unnoticed for as long as possible. This is very handy when making a getaway.
