How to Display a Lladro Collection

Lladro figurines have been around since 1953 when brothers Juan, Jose and Vicente Lladro began making them in their house in Valencia, Spain. These figurines have been growing in popularity ever since. Anyone with a collection of Lladro figurines, whether large or small, should display them both safely and proudly.

Instructions

    • 1

Count how many Lladro figurines you have. Knowing the number of figurines in your collection helps you determine what size display case you need to fit them all.

    • 2

Measure the largest Lladro figurine in your collection. Knowing the measurement helps you when you search for display cases, because you know the maximum space needed between shelves.

    • 3

Decide on a display case. Many display cases on the market offer clear glass doors and shelves, with interior lighting to showcase collections. The size of display case you need depends on the size of your collection and also the available space in your home. If you plan on growing your Lladro collection, make sure you buy a display case that has extra room for new figurines.

    • 4

Arrange your Lladro collection on the shelves. You can group them into themes, such as children, families and motherhood or religion. Or you can group them by size, putting the large figurines on a shelf and the small figurines on another. You can also create scenes by placing a mother, father and child figurine together.
