Step 1
Ride up the face of the ramp at a moderate pace. Blazing into the stall makes it hard to hold, but going to slow makes it hard to balance.
-
Step 2
Continue straight up the ramp until your front trucks are over the coping.
-
Step 3
Perform a backside half turn. For example, if you ride with your right foot back, turn your shoulders 90-degrees to the left.
-
Step 4
Stall your skateboard on the coping in a 50-50 grind. Both your trucks should be resting on the lip of the ramp.
-
Step 5
Bend your knees and extend your arms to increase your balance.
-
Step 6
Do another half turn in the same direction as before and ride back down the ramp's face.
