Step 1
Select a helmet for your snow BMX racing. Sure, the snow is soft, but trees are hard, and you never know when you will encounter a rock or hard ice. Never race without a helmet.
-
Step 2
Select a pair of quality snow goggles to wear. Do not use cheap goggles. Use professional grade ski goggles that are vented to help them resist fogging up.
-
Step 3
Make sure to wear knee pads and elbow pads to prevent injury in the event that you wipe out while BMX racing. Padding is important.
-
Step 4
Obtain a ski suit. This is purely optional and considered a comfort item, but the material will help keep you warm and dry while snow BMX racing, allowing you to focus more on the race and less on the weather.
