If you are trying to budget carefully for your wedding and wedding reception or just looking for a wonderful handmade wedding favor that's both easy and quick to put together, then this may be just the wedding reception favor your looking for.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic Spoons
  • Tule
  • Hersey's Kisses
  • Paper
  • Printer or pen (printer is easiest!)
  • Ribbon to Match Your Wedding Decor
  • Basket
  1. Step 1

Place 3 Hersey's Kisses inside cup of plastic spoon.

  2. Step 2

Cut square's or circles of tule fabric to a desired size. 8" seems to usually work out about right. Experiment with one to see what you prefer.

  3. Step 3

Make up enough paper slips with the words "A Spoonful of Kisses For You From the Mr. & Mrs." or "We thank you for coming, with a spoonful of kisses, to bless our beginning, as Mr. and Mrs.!" to attach to each spoon.

  4. Step 4

Cut ribbon pieces. One for each spoon. Or, if like me, you prefer to have two colors on each spoon to customize, do that.

  5. Step 5

Using a paper punch, snap a hole into the corner of each slip of paper you have printed / written on.

  6. Step 6

    Thread ribbon through paper slips.

  7. Step 7

Wrap tule around kisses end of spoon. Tip of spoon should be placed at the center point of the piece of tule.

  8. Step 8

Gather tule up at the neck of the spoon and tie off with your ribbon, creating a pretty bow.

  9. Step 9

Place finished spoons into a pretty basket.

  10. Step 10

Place a spoon at each seat or have a helper hand one out to everyone who signs the guestbook.

Tips & Warnings
  • I prefer to use a business card program in order to make multiples of the saying on the same sheet of paper and print them out on paper of choice instead of card stock.
