How to Eliminate Fruit Flies

Summer bounties of fresh fruit and vegetables are on the horizon. Those pesky fruit flies always seem to show up and get on our nerves. Elminate them with a few easy steps.

Things You’ll Need:

• Apple Cider Vinegar
• Plastic Wrap
• Rubber Band
• Disposable Container

1. Pour one inch of Apple Cider Vinegar into a disposable container. A paper cup or small jar work great.
2. Cover the top of the container with a piece of plastic wrap. Secure with a rubber band. Poke one hole in the top of the plastic wrap.
3. Fruit flies will be attracted to the vinegar. Once they are inside the trap they will not be able to find their way out and will drown in the vinegar.
4. Place the container on the counter, in a cabinet, or on top of the refrigerator. Make sure it is out of the reach of children.
