Colon cleansing is the best way to remove toxins from your body. If you want to keep healthy, lose weight, or treat digestive disorders, then colon cleansing is for you. Although it's classified under alternative medicine, those who have tried colon cleansing swear that the procedure is safe and effective.

Things You'll Need:

    Cleansing - take a colon cleansing product, the one you think is best, and take it twice a day. After a couple of days of taking your colon cleansing product, you will notice that your stool will have a lighter color.

  2. Step 2

    Maintenance - during this period, you are expected to take your colon cleansing product daily for one whole month.

  3. Step 3

    Cleansing – the last phase of this cycle is also called cleansing. Unlike in the first phase, the third and final phase requires you to follow the recommended dosage of the colon cleansing product you are using twice a day. You are to stay in this phase until your feces go back to a lighter shade.

Tips & Warnings
  • Determine your bowel transit time. It normally takes 16 to 24 hours for a person to expel the food he has eaten for a day. Eat corn or beets and wait until it comes out of you. This will let you know your bowel transit time.
  • Go on a detox or cleansing diet. This means you'd stay away from any for of caffeine, alcohol, sugar, and some dairy products.
  • Drink eight to ten glasses of water a day. Add vegetable or fruit juice to your fluid intake
