Digg online is a library of digital news stories and other articles of interest. After joining Digg, you'll need to follow these basic steps to jump on board with all the other Digg members.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1
make as many friends as you can

make as many friends as you can

First off, you'll need to get some friends. These are the people who will look at your posts (probably) first. Go to the Digg homepage and find an article that you find interesting. Under the title, there should be a username for the author. Click on it. From here, you can add that person and the friends they have, and the friends they have, etc. This should get you enough friends to start with.

  2. Step 2
    find a good article

    find a good article

Next, you'll need to find a good news or informational article that you think the people on Digg will be interested in. Just do a Google search on a topic and see if you can find a decent article. Once you find one, copy the URL (the address).
IMPORTANT - (Right after you think of a topic, search on Digg to see if somebody else hasn't posted about that topic first)

  3. Step 3

With the address copied, go to digg.com and click on Submit New near the top of the screen. In the new screen, paste the address where they tell you. Follow the rest of the directions.

  4. Step 4
Make your article easy to find

Make your article easy to find

Make sure you make your article as easy to search for as it can possibly get. Use the Shout option to send your article to all your friends so that they can view it, and place links on any other websites or accounts you may have.

  5. Step 5
Make sure your articles are attention grabbing

Make sure your articles are attention grabbing

Also, keep in mind that the people will want to read articles that are short but packed full of info. Make sure your title and introduction are attention-grabbing.
