Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pitcher
  • Baseball
  • catcher
  • baseball bat
  • helmet
  1. Step 1

Step into the batters box into your comfortable stance.

  2. Step 2

When the pitcher starts his balance position, begin your stride.

  3. Step 3

Keep your weight on your back foot when you start to swing.

  4. Step 4

When you do start to swing, keep the bat even with your back hip. (When your bat is square to the pitcher, your hips should be to.)

  5. Step 5

Right before you hit the baseball you should fire your hips and bat to create bat head speed. (Thats where the distance of the ball comes from. You should have a light bat that you can swing fast instead of a, heavy bulky bat.)
