Do you have to plan a charity event to plan anytime soon? Churches, schools, and non profit organizations are on a strict budget. here are some suggestions for raising funds for charity events.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    The first step is creating a letter to send to potential sponsors of the event. The letter should be thoughtful and sincere. Never beg in the letter either!

  2. Step 2

    Send letters and emails to companies,local and national. also send emails and letters to all of your networks.

  3. Step 3

    Use the web for other things as well. Create a blog for your charity and promote the charity function. promote your charity on other blogs as well. Create a facebook group that asks for donations.

  4. Step 4

    Make lots of phone calls! Call local area businesses. If a charity function is going to benefit the community, local, prominent business may be willing to contribute.

  5. Step 5

    Ask for contributions from family, colleagues, and friends. take collections at work! Use all of your networks!

  6. Step 6

    Send thank you letters to all sponsors and contributors. This will make raising money for the next charity function all the more easier.
