Groceries are pricier than ever these days, and it's important to save money whenever possible. Here is how to save a few bucks on something most of us buy every week: juice.
When purchasing a container of juice, also purchase an inexpensive bottle of seltzer water. When you pour a glass of juice, pour half juice and half seltzer for a delicious spritzer. You'll go through a bottle of juice half as quickly this way.
Step2
Watering down your juice, or even adding ice, can make it last longer. To add more flavor when watering it down, add a fresh lemon or lime.
Step3
Many juices come in frozen concentrate form in your freezer aisle. Buying juice this way and making it at home greatly reduces costs.
Step4
When in doubt, buy in bulk. Large discount warehouse stores sell juice in larger quantities at cheaper prices. Also, buying store brand instead of name brand will reduce your costs by a little.
Step5
You can always freshly squeeze your own juice. If you don't have the materials to do so, making lemonade or limeade is easy, cheap and requires almost no materials.
