1
Set up a computer with an Operating System of Windows XP or higher. In the event that you are keeping it old school with Windows 98, you will have to manually search the installation CD that came with your Innovage MP3 player for the proper drivers.
-
2
Insert your Innovage installation CD and run the setup program. This will install the device drivers for your player and enable the computer to communicate with it.
-
-
3
Take your USB cord and use it to connect the computer to the Innovage MP3 player. The computer should automatically recognize the device as a "mass storage device."
-
4
Remove the installation CD and insert your audio CD. After a few seconds, it will pop up with a list of choices. Exit from the list.
-
5
Open up a CD-ripping program, like Audiograbber (MP3) or Windows Media Player (WMA). If you are ripping WMAs, they must be non-protected WMAs or they will not play. Rip the CD to the designated folder for the program. You can customize your settings in whatever program you are using.
-
6
Open up the icon for your Innovage MP3 player under the "My Computer" section. Now, just click and drag the audio files from your saved folder into the one for the Innovage device.
-
7
Be sure to use the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature before disconnecting your Innovage MP3 player from your computer. Failure to do so could create some problems with the device. Once the hardware is safely removed, unplug the device from the USB cord and enjoy your songs!
