  • Recipes for Cracked Wheat
  1. Step 1

Buy cracked wheat. It’s ok to buy it in a large supply because it is good for a year. Before you put it in the pantry, prepare several baggies filled with 1 cup each of the wheat.

  2. Step 2

Prepare the water. At breakfast time, bring three cups of water and a teaspoon of water to a boil in a pan.

  3. Step 3

Add wheat. When the water boils pour one of your one cup baggies of wheat into the pan. Stir and turn off heat. It softens quickly.

  4. Step 4

Serve. Pour your cracked wheat into a cereal bowl. Add about a teaspoon of sugar to the wheat and pour in some milk to taste. Stir and enjoy.

  5. Step 5

Alternate methods of serving. Bonus on-the-go tip! Pour a little extra milk to make your cereal juicy and pour into a travel coffee mug to enjoy on the road on your way to work, school, or wherever your busy morning takes you.
