Step 1
Get up a half hour earlier than normal. Even though it's tempting to hit that snooze button, the energy you'll gain from working out will make up for the minor sleep loss.
-
Step 2
Make any preparations for your morning workout the night before. Lay out every piece of clothing, pop your workout DVD into the player, set out your tennis shoes. Anything you can do to make it that much easier will make you more likely to squeeze in your workout.
-
Step 3
Break up your workout into three manageable ten-minute sessions during the day, rather than one half hour chunk.
-
Step 4
Find ways to exercise throughout the day. Run up and down the office stairs a few times, do butt squeezes at stop lights, and tone your calves while standing in lines: up on your tiptoes and back down again, repeatedly.
-
Step 5
Delegate chores at home to your spouse and children, so that you have some time for yourself. It's your health and you are worth it!
