How to Decorate a Gift

Giving a gift is always an amazing feeling. As nice is it is to give a gift, it's equally nice to make that gift presentable. Here are some tips to make you proud to present that special present.

Things You'll Need

• ribbon
• small gift card
• wrapping paper
• scissors
• tape
• fake flowers/gold or silver seal/string of beads

Instructions

1. Choose something that is not too "busy" when seeking wrapping paper if you plan on adding a lot of accessories to your package. Wrap the gift neatly, cutting straight edges and folding corners neatly with no excess paper.

2. Tie a ribbon around the whole package, leaving a fair amount of excess ribbon at the top/center of the gift. Tie a small bow and then curl the excess ribbon with your scissors. Another option, if you are using a thick ribbon, is to rip the thick excess ribbon into narrow pieces and curl each piece individually.

3. Make a ribbon seal. Simply place a ribbon in a "seal of approval" style in the upper left corner, with a decorative sticker in the center of the seal.

4. Add garnish. Fake flowers, beads, fake fruit are all beautiful options to put in the center of your package.

5. Tie a very small gift card to your ribbon. Make sure to write the person's name in decorative ink such as silver, gold, or purple.
