How to Make a Workout Schedule into a Habit
After a while, working out can become boring. People can lose sight of their goals of health, weight loss and overall fitness, when they don't have a habitual fitness routine. Make your workout more interesting and turn your 'every now and then' gym days into a daily routine.

1
Set a goal for yourself and write down why you are trying to reach that goal. Post this goal in a place where you will look every day. This will help you start your workout routine habit and provide some motivation.

2
Buy a wall calendar. Look at your schedule, then write down when you will head to the gym every day. Or, if it fits into your schedule to go to the gym every other day, write that down. Write those times on your calendar and put it into your schedule as well.

3
Take a look at the classes at your gym. Pick several that are interesting to you, like cardio dance classes, pilates or yoga. Write down which class you will take each day. Add in time for strength training as well.

Listen to music to make working out fun. Download your favorite tunes and play them while you work out.

Tips & Warnings
Even if you create a schedule for yourself, life happens and situations arise that will prevent you from making it to the gym. If this happens, do some form of your workout at home.
