How to Get a Great Fake Tan at Home
You are probably well aware of the dangers of tanning in the sun. Tanning under UV lights can be just as damaging. Fortunately, you can safely get a great tan at home! Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

-
1
Exfoliate your skin using a loofah or exfoliating scrub. By removing the dry skin, your tan will be even and it will last longer.
-
2
Moisturize your skin, paying special attention to particularly dry areas (think elbows and knees).
-
-
3
Use a sponge to apply the self-tanning product. The tan will go on smoothly and you will be less likely to stain your hands.
-
4
Take your time and apply the tanning product to one area at a time. If you rush, it's likely you will either miss spots or over apply.
-
5
Give the product plenty of time to dry before putting clothing on.

Tips & Warnings
Cover areas that would not naturally look very tan (such as your palms and wrists) with moisturizing lotion prior to applying self-tanner. Apply tanner and dab excess away.
If you end up with an area that is too dark, exfoliate it a bit to remove some of the color.
Wash your hands quickly after applying tanner.
