Step 1
Wear loose fitting clothes that allow you to move, such as yoga pants, tank tops, sleeveless shirts or t-shirts. Shorts are also good items to wear to class. You will be stretching your body in all sorts of ways, so it is important not to let your clothing restrict your movement.

Step 2
Leave the heavy clothing at home. It can get hot in a yoga workout room, so wearing sweater wraps, sweatshirts and sweatpants can be miserable.

Step 3
Take off any heavy jewelry, long earrings or hoop earrings before you begin class. Stud earrings are more than enough jewelry for an integral yoga class.

Don't wear heavy perfume to class. It could affect the allergies of other classmates once the heat is up in the room.

Wear socks and leave the stockings at home. During yoga class, people wear either socks or work out barefoot.
