How to Put YouTube Videos on your MySpace Page

You've just found the most hysterical video of a laughing baby playing with a spoon! Now you want to share it with everyone on your MySpace page. Here's how you do it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• A Video to Share from YouTube
• A MySpace page

1. Each YouTube video has a code that allows you to "Embed" it onto a MySpace page. First, click on the button that says Menu on the lower right side of the video.
2. Highlight the code under the "Embed" section, or click Copy to Clipboard.
3. Open your MySpace page and click on Edit Profile.
4. Copy the code into a section of the Profile. You may want it to be under the About Me, if it really highlights your personality. Or maybe it's a funny clip from Grey's Anatomy, then you'll want it under the favorite TV shows.
5. You can preview it to make sure it is where you want it to be, or you can save and look at your MySpace page to make sure it works.

Tips & Warnings

• Try to keep your videos relevant to whatever section you post them in your MySpace page. Or you can write an intro to what they are about to see.
• If you don't want to "Embed" it on the page, YouTube also provides a link that you can put on your site.
• If it doesn't work, check to make sure you have highlighted the entire code. One missed letter will make it act funny.
• As always, don't post anything you wouldn't want your mother or boss to see. You never know, and you don't want it to backfire on you.
• Don't put so many videos on your page that no one will want to watch them. Be selective to highlight the ones that are really worth watching.
