We all put if off. The refrigerator needs a good scrub, but who wants the hassle? Here is a quick and easy way to clean out that refrigerator and having it look like new again.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Turn off and unplug the refrigerator. Remove all food and condiments. Discard anything that is spoiled, expired, or in any way questionable.

  2. Step 2

    Remove the crisper drawers and gently hand wash in the sink. Set aside to dry.

  3. Step 3

    Start from the top and work your way down, wipe all sides and shelves with a cloth or sponge soaked in a solution of dishwashing liquid and warm water. Don't be afraid to use a bit of elbow grease to make that refrigerator shine!

  4. Step 4

    Using a clean soft cloth, rinse all areas with clean warm water. Towel dry. Replace your crisper drawers. Add a box of baking soda to control odors and keep your refrigerator smelling clean and fresh.

  5. Step 5

    Don't forget to clean the outside of the refrigerator as well. Wipe down the top, all sides, doors and door handles. Towel dry. Vacuum the coils behind the refrigerator to keep it running at peak efficiency.

  6. Step 6

    Re-stock with food and condiments. Smile because it's done and looks great!
