Has the slow economy finally caught up with you? Have you lost your job? Has the cost of gas eaten into your money for bills, etc.? Try getting RADICALLY frugal for a month or two and see if you can see a difference in your attitude and your bank account!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet
  • computer
  • A little time
  • A positive attitude

Step1
My husband's favorite saying is "perception is reality'. Whatever your perception of a situation is, it is what forms your attitudes and your actions. If your perception is, I can't do anything about a situation, then that is what you do. Change YOUR Perception! There is something you can do to get more money for your situation!
Step2
Several websites offer tips to save money on groceries: www.grocerygame.com,www.moneysavingmom.com,www.livingonadime.com,www.debt-proofliving.com.
These are just a few of the websites that have saved me a lot of money on all sorts of things--not just groceries. Livingonadime website has a
free ebook--how to save $500 on groceries right now.
Step3
The next step (according to Dave ramsey) is to keep a record for a week of everything you spend! When you finally stop being in denial and GROW UP, you will find where your money is going!
Step4
Figure out what is important to you! What is it that you can live without and what is it that you can't. Spend your money for the week/month ON PAPER before you spend it in reality. Make your money work for you--not you for your money--because you don't want to think about it!

Tips & Warnings

  • Thinking about how you spend your money instead of just living paycheck to paycheck can be life-changing.
  • Change your attitude
