Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Internet
- computer
- A little time
- A positive attitude
Step1
My husband's favorite saying is "perception is reality'. Whatever your perception of a situation is, it is what forms your attitudes and your actions. If your perception is, I can't do anything about a situation, then that is what you do. Change YOUR Perception! There is something you can do to get more money for your situation!
Step2
Several websites offer tips to save money on groceries: www.grocerygame.com,www.moneysavingmom.com,www.livingonadime.com,www.debt-proofliving.com.
These are just a few of the websites that have saved me a lot of money on all sorts of things--not just groceries. Livingonadime website has a
free ebook--how to save $500 on groceries right now.
Step3
The next step (according to Dave ramsey) is to keep a record for a week of everything you spend! When you finally stop being in denial and GROW UP, you will find where your money is going!
Step4
Figure out what is important to you! What is it that you can live without and what is it that you can't. Spend your money for the week/month ON PAPER before you spend it in reality. Make your money work for you--not you for your money--because you don't want to think about it!
