Talk Thug
itsablackthang.com

So, you want to learn how to talk thug? Maybe your new boyfriend has a little bit of "gangsta" in him, or you want to know what certain words mean when you hear your friends speaking to one another. Whatever the reason, this article will help you learn the language of thug. You'll learn some basic terms, how and when to speak thug and how and when not to speak thug. Get on your grill and get ready for a lesson.

Things You'll Need:

  • Thug CD
  • Thug friends

Educate yourself on the language of thug. One of the easiest ways to do this is to get your hands on a really gangsta CD. Even something like 50 Cent will do the trick. For instance, this is a portion of the lyrics from a song by 50 Cent and Destiny's Child: "Yo when shorty say she hate me, you know she mean she love me. When she play me close at the bar that mean she want some bubbly." Shorty equals girl. Bubbly, of course, is champagne. Once you hear certain words over and over again, you will find their meaning and be able to use them in everyday language.

If you really want to learn the language, spend a day with a thug. You can pick up on some language and if you find a nice thug, he might be able to answer some questions without bustin' a cap at you.

Throw out all the grammar rules. Thugs don't care about grammar. Actually, if you want to speak thug, do the exact opposite of what you learned in school. Use double negatives ("I don't want no mo'").

Be cautious where you speak thug. While it's okay to speak it with your friends or in the club, if you're in trouble with the law, don't speak thug. This will not impress the police officer and you'll most likely get in more trouble. If you don't think you can speak "regular" English, just keep your mouth shut.
