How to make a banna split without ice cream at a bbq

Make a little treat that is a variation from traditional banana split.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • bananas
  • chocolate chips
  • peanut butter chips
  • butterscotch chips
  • mini marshmallows
  • jar of cherries
  • sticks
  1. Step 1

    Cut a slit in banana, lengthwise. Leave about an inch on each side.

  2. Step 2

    Add choc chips, peanut butter chips, marshmallows to inside of slit. (leave out what you dont like).

  3. Step 3

    Wrap in tinfoil.

  4. Step 4

    Place on stick. Roast in campfire for about 3 to 5 minutes.

  5. Step 5

    Take out. Carefully unwrap. Add cherries. Enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Can also do this in oven. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
  • or on grill
  • Will be hot when you remove

on 9/3/2008 I'm having a campfire tonight. Got the banana, but no choco chips. Sigh. I bet you can really burn your mouth on the melted chocolate, but sounds delish.
