Choosing a tennis racket for a tennis player is an essential task if you want to succeed in the game. A good tennis racket which fits in nicely with a player is the key to winning tennis matches !

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Tennis shops
  • Money
  • Internet
  • Strings

Step1
Go to a tennis shop near your neighborhood and start browsing through their stocks of tennis rackets!
Step2
Think of your game. Their are multiple basis in choosing a tennis racket. If your a beginner, it would be advisable to choose rackets with bigger head sizes or an Oversized tennis racket. This racket ranges anywhere from 105 Sq. Inches head size and above.
Step3
For Intermediate Players, Rackets which has a midplus headsize which ranges from 95 up to 106 Sw. Inches are ideal. This way, you can still have your usual power but still posses that ball control ideal for smarter more innovative players out there!
Step4
For advanced players, tennis racket which has a smaller head size which is around 85 to 94 Sq. inches are highly recommended since players at this level doesn't need the power generated by Oversized rackets. Instead, advanced players generate their own power and needs more of a control to add pop into their game.
Step5
Also, factor in the wieght of the racket. The heavier it is the more it leans towards control oriented rackets while lighter rackets lean towards power oriented rackets.
Step6
Finally, no matter what racket you posses.. Enjoy the game!!

Tips & Warnings

  • If possible stay off light, unstable rackets as this causes tennis elbows.
  • The more a racket leans on the control side the less expensive it is.
  • Heavier rackets are more expensive.
