Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1-1/2 cups corn, fresh or frozen
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 tbsp chopped onions
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 4 cups water
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk

Step 1
In large pot, add potatoes, carrots, corn, celery, onion, salt, pepper, and water. Cover and cook slowly for 40 minutes. Do not drain. Most of the water will have cooked off.

Step 2
In medium saucepan, melt butter. Blend in flour and then stir in milk. Cook sauce until creamy.

Step 3
Add sauce to vegetables. Cook for about 2 minutes over medium-low heat. Serve hot.
