Things You'll Need:

• Personal Computer
• Knowledge of operating sysytem.

1. 
   Defragmenter.

   1. Disk Defragmenter - This tool puts all of your files back into place. For eg, when you buy a board game of monopoly all of pieces and money are packaged all nice and neat. After playing the game several times everything is all messed up. Well your computer is the same way.
   
   Defragmenter will put all of the pieces back into their original package. This should be performed atleast once a week.
   
   To Perform:
   
   Click on Start --->
   Programs --->
   Accessories --->
   System tools --->
   Disk Defragmenter --->
   Drive C:\ --->
   Start and after completiton of C drive do the same for all your hard drives and at finish Close.

2. 
   Disk Clean Up.

   2. Disk Clean Up - The disk Clean up should be performed weekly. It will delete all of your unused and unwanted files. it will also delete your garbage and old internet files.
   
   To Perform:
   
   Click on Start --->
   Programs --->
   Accessories --->
   System tools --->
   Disk Clean Up
   Do the clean up for all the disks.

3. 
   Windows.

   3. Windows Update - Windows update will ensure that your computer is up-to-date with new features and the latest security.
   
   To Perform:
   
   Click Start --->
   Windows Update --->
   on web site go to scan for critical updates->
   download updates->
   install updates and follow directions.
   
   Please note if you are using the pirated windows software of microsoft then DONT DO THIS because you should not visit microsoft website if you are using any pirated windows software else microsoft will block your windows and in result you will have to install new windows.

4. 
   Check Disk.

   4. Check Disk - The check disk fixes your computer when you are having problems/errors. This should be run every week just to ensure that you computer is error free even if you are not having any problems.
   
   To Perform:
   
   Open My Computer --->
   Right click on C drive --->
   Select Properties --->
   Click the Tools tab --->
   Select Check disk --->
   Check all boxes --->
   Answer yes that you will perform the next time system starts --->
   Restart computer and check disk will check computer.

5. 
   System Restore.

   5. Before installing any software perform this: System Restore
   
   To Perform:
   
   Click Start --->
   Programs --->
   Accessories --->
   System tools --->
   System restore --->
   Set Restore point for today --->
   Click ok->
   Install your program now.
