Where you live and other reasons determine the best choices of fish for your restaurant or your plate. Captain Dee's listened.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
If you live on or near the coast, Scamp, not Scampi, is my favorite. Red Snapper is the runner up. Flounder comes in third place, at best.
Step2
After the fish or frozen, Flounder taste better than Red Snapper.
Step3
Sea fish can be brought inland on ice, but not frozen, and still be classified as fresh fish for a period of time. If you live within about 250 miles from the coast, this is the way to go with Red Snapper. If you're not willing to pay the expense, just order Flounder.

Tips & Warnings

  • Getting White Snapper instead of Red Snapper, is like getting a bologna sandwich instead of a rib eye.
  • Uneducated fish buyers, and possibly some educated fish buyers, may put a White Snapper or a scarlet colored snapper on your plate, even though you asked for Red Snapper.
  • Educated fish buyers may put the much cheaper priced White Snapper on your plate to save money.
