I love Ramen noodles. They are easy to make and are a satisfying snack. However, they are not very healthy. They have loads of fat, in large part because they were fried. To help reduce the fat, I'd like to share a new recipe for preparing cold Ramen noodles.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Ramen noodles
  • Pot
  • Water

Step1
First boil the noodles just like you would if you were making hot noodles.
Step2
Once the noodles are separated, turn off the heat and take the pot to the sink and empty out the hot water. As you do this, you'll be getting rid of alot of the oils and fat that have come off the noodles. Then rinse the noodles in cold water until they are cold.
Step3
Put the noodles in a bowl and empty the soup base powder on the noodles. Pour cold water into the bowl so that most of the noodles are submerged. Then mix so that the soup base is dissolved.
Step4
Now you can enjoy the cold noodles. Such a dish is great for warm days when you want something cool.

on 5/11/2008 Instead of using the very salty seasoning, I use a little bit of fat free dressing or a tad of olive oil an Italian seasoning. Great article.
