To treat constipation in babies make sure that you follow this closely

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Clear Karo Syrup
  • bottle
  • formula/breast milk

  1. Step 1

First make sure that this is done two days in a row, do not skip a day or you have to start over and do not skip a bottle or the results are mixed

  2. Step 2

For every bottle that your baby eats, put 1 oz of clear Karo syrup in the bottom and mix well with formula

  3. Step 3

on 5/1/2009 My Dr. told me to only add 1 tsp to every bottle for my 7 week old baby. THAT seemed to be a lot, because it was for every bottle, let alone an OUNCE of Karo syrup. It did work, however my baby became a little irritable and fussy, and started to drink less formula for every feed, and he spit up a lot after drinking the formula with the syrup. So, I recommend trying a teaspoon instead of an ounce at first, and really try not to exceed 2-3 days of adding the syrup!
