Acne and skin irritation can be a pain in the butt. No one wants to walk around with their face looking like a pizza! Here are a few easy steps that can be taken to get rid of acne.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • alchol swabs
  • clean wash cloth
  • facial cleanser
  • water
  • antibacterial soap
  • moisterizer
  1. Step 1

Wash your face with a clean washcloth and a bar of antibacterial soap. Wash in the morning and before bedtime. this gets rid of oil buildup on the surface.

  2. Step 2

Cut back on the greasy foods. Your waist and face will thank you later!

  3. Step 3

Cleanse your face with a store bought facial cleanser, or alcohol swabs. This picks up what the washcloth and soap doesn't. Men should do this after shaving to fight against skin irritation.

  4. Step 4

Remember to moisturize your skin. Greasy skin isn't good, but neither is dry skin. Moisturize keeps the skin looking flawless. It is even more important in the winter time, when skin can become painfully dry.

on 10/19/2008 Wash your pillow cases often. Grease and oil from your hair and skin gets on your pillow cases and transfers back to your face.

on 10/12/2008 Oh, and washing your hair and keeping your hair off your skin also helps! I found that when I had longer hair and I didn't wash it much I had lots of skin problems on my forehead, as soon as I cut it all off it cleared up a lot.

Also not touching your skin/face helps, as if you fiddle/pick your skin you transfer germs and bacteria around and make it worse.

on 10/12/2008 I have found that eating well, and washing my face with fresh, cool water and drying works well. Also as mentioned I have found that using a face-friendly moisturiser instead of skin-drying cleansers works much better too!

If your skin is dry it produces extra oils to try and keep it moist but that is the main cause of pimples!

Clean, fresh and moisturised is the way to go!
