Things You'll Need:
- Creativity
- Camera
- Baskets
- Colorful gift bags
- Theme
-
Step 1
For children's birthday parties, a theme should be tied in with the party favors. This can range from the child's favorite TV character, to the most vivid fantasy. Kids have a tendency to not take care of things, so don't spend a lot of money here. Its best to create goodie bags with swag purchased from the dollar store! Customize the bags to add creativity.
-
Step 2
Gift bags can also make great gifts for adults as well. Customize items with your favorite sayings and pictures. People never remember the most expensive party favors, they remember the most touching. It is always best to use creativity. Each party is different as well.
-
Step 3
If you have special talents, or if you're an artist of some sort, display your craft in party favors. You could make your friends a CD, or give them framed prints of your latest artwork.
-
Step 4
Party favors can be store bought and semi homemade. Do what feels best to you. Some items are worth the effort of making at home and some aren't. If you are a great baker, for example, you could add extra ingredients to your favorite store bought cake or cookie mix, and package them.

on 8/6/2008 Thanks for the post. I just gave out TickleMe Plant Mini-House/Party favors. They were a big hit. The children were so surprised to see my pet tickleMe Plant
close its leaves and move its branches when Tickled. I found my supplies at www.TickleMePlant.com They are fun plants and so easy to grow.
