I don't know anyone who isn't looking to make some extra money on the side. Whether it be to add to your savings or to buy a hot designer dress you've been eyeing. Here are some tips on how you can add some extra bucks into your pocket!

1. Have a Yard Sale / Garage Sale : Clean out all that clutter in your basement, attic or garage and put it up for sale! Old books, stuffed animals, furniture, the sky is the limit. For only a few hours of work on a Saturday or Sunday, you could pocket a couple hundred bucks, depending on what you are selling. Advertise a week before the sale by putting up flyers around town or by word of mouth. If you have a few bucks to spend, try putting out an ad in the newspaper to maximize the amount of customers you get.
2. Sell on Ebay : Not up for a yard sale? Why not try Ebay? Hundreds of people are making a fortune everyday selling things they no longer use, like clothing, jewelry, and toys. A friend from work made about $200 selling old Thomas the Train toys her sons no longer played with. Look through the website to see what's selling, then see what's lying around the house. You'll need a camera to take pictures to post and a Paypal account for payments (which is free), but Ebay is one of the easiest ways to make some extra cash!
3. Get Creative! : Arts and crafts are a great way to earn some extra money. If you enjoy making things, you may look into selling your crafts for profit. Look at your friends and family for potential clients. Some great ideas are gift baskets, greeting cards, catering, or sewing and hemming clothes.
4. Personal Assistants : Some people are way too busy these days with jobs and families to deal with mundane chores like dry cleaning and food shopping. Why not ask people you know if they are willing to give you some extra money for doing these things for them?
5. Get A Part Time Job : This is not for everyone. Honestly, who wants to leave their 40+ hour a week job to go to another one? If you have the energy and the drive, this is probably the best route to go. Wait staff is a way to take in an extra paycheck plus cash tips.
6. Direct Sales / Home Parties : A big hit for stay at home moms, these companies give you the freedom of setting your own schedules and allow you to keep about 40% of your sales. Whatever you decide to sell Mary Kay, Avon, or if your racy enough, Passion Parties (adult toys), you will have to purchase starter kits which may run up to $500.
7. Do Some Writing : Sign up for Ehow and get paid for the articles you write! It won't make you a millionare but depending on how popular your articles are you might be able to make extra money to help pay monthly bills. It's super easy and fun to do!
