Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Socket set and wrench
Screwdrivers
Set of wrenches
Spark plug socket
A pair of rubber-handled pliers

Step 1

Cover all of your regular maintenance problems such as changing your oil and checking your fluids.
Step 2

Change your spark pugs, spark plug wires, distributer cap and cylinoids. If you have a newer car, you may need to switch out your relay box, which is used instead of a distributer. Check your car's timing because it could be one of your biggest losses of power.
Step 3

Replace the gaskets on your intake manifold and exhaust manifold. Replace the oil pan's gasket. This will increase the compression of the engine block.
Step 4

Replace your air filter with a K&N air filter, which is an oil air filter. This will increase your performance up to 20%.

Tips & Warnings

Make sure you detach the battery fully before detaching the spark plugs.
Avoid using stiff tools when removing the gaskets because you will scratch the manifold.
