Moonstone, or Adularia, earned its name because of its lustrous glow. Moonstone is a stone of flow and give and take. It shares its energy with the moon and tides and is a feminine stone of the goddess. Moonstone will calm female problems, but it will also help with emotion or stress related problems. It is also a specific for lymph and other body fluid imbalances. Moonstone will also increase empathy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Moonstone
  • Other associated minerals
  • Small bag or pouch (optional)

Step1
Moonstone works best if you surrender to it. Lie on a blue cloth and place a piece of Moonstone on your solar plexus. Allow it to work for several minutes, or even fall asleep with it in place.
Step2
Moonstone can help you understand other people in situations that make no sense to you. Hold your Moonstone in your hand or keep it in your pocket when you need that sort of enlightenment.
Step3
Moonstone is the stone of psychics. Keep Moonstone on the table if you are doing psychic readings of any type.
Step4
Moonstone is a natural pair with any of the other "water" stones, such as Aquamarine, Chrysolite or Emerald.
Step5
If you would like to maintain an emotional connection with another person, both of you should carry moonstones, ideally in the same pocket, or around your neck.

Tips & Warnings

  • Clear Quartz, Aquamarine and Silver are potentiators for Moonstone.
  • Opal will add an earthly, grounded element to the flowing nature of Moonstone.
  • Ruby will bring fire to the fluid power of Moonstone.
  • Try combining these minerals in bracelets or necklaces.
  • Combine pieces in a pouch and wear them, or just tuck them in your pocket.
  • Some people are more sensitive to mineral energy. Watch your reactions when you use these stones.
  • If you experience anxiety or restlessness, or physical symptoms, like nausea, you may want to cut back your exposure.
  • If you are sensitive, try using only single stones and not combinations.
