1. Think about your best friend's role in your life. Does your best friend celebrate your accomplishments with you? Does she give you a shoulder to cry on when life lets you down? If she does these things for you, then she probably loves you.

2. Examine whether your best friend leans on you. Does your best friend share his joys and sorrows with you? Does he confide in you? If so, then he likely trusts you, which is a good indicator that he loves you.

3. Assess your relationship when you are apart. If you cannot spend time with your best friend, do you miss each other? Does she tell you that she thought about you during your absence from each other? If she thinks about you when you are not able to spend time together, then she likely loves you.

4. Determine if your best friend makes you a priority. Does spending time with you matter to your best friend? Do you get together on a regular basis and feel disappointment when a conflict arises? Does he turn down other social opportunities because he has a previous commitment to spend time with you? If yes, then there is a really good chance that he loves you.

5. Evaluate how your friendship holds up in a disagreement. What happens when you and your best friend disagree? Does she respect your difference of opinion?
