How to Make a Good Road Trip Mix

Road trips are fun, especially when you have some fun tunes to accompany them. Making a mix is so easy, but pleasing everyone in the car is a different story. Here are some simple tips to keep a carload of friends or family happy.

1. Nostalgic songs are always a crowd pleaser. For example, if you are traveling with a group of friends from high school, be sure to put a few songs on there that were popular during that time.

2. Avoid obscure songs that you and only you love. Put on songs that are specific people's favorites. When those tunes come on, your friend will be extra happy.

3. Sing-along songs are also good bets. Be careful not to choose overdone songs. Choose songs everyone knows all the words to but is not sick of.

4. Songs about traveling are also a good bet. Do some research. You will be surprised at how many of these songs exist.

5. If there are any songs written about your destination, be sure to include those. Place them last on the CD.
