Make a Good Road Trip Mix

Road trips are fun, especially when you have some fun tunes to accompany them. Making a mix is so easy, but pleasing everyone in the car is a different story. Here are some simple tips to keep a carload of friends or family happy.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Nostalgic songs are always a crowd pleaser. For example, if you are traveling with a group of friends from high school, be sure to put a few songs on there that were popular during that time.

  2. Step 2

Avoid obscure songs that you and only you love. Put on songs that are specific people's favorites. When those tunes come on, your friend will be extra happy.

  3. Step 3

Sing-along songs are also good bets. Be careful not to choose overdone songs. Choose songs everyone knows all the words to but is not sick of.

  4. Step 4

Songs about traveling are also a good bet. Do some research. You will be surprised at how many of these songs exist.

  5. Step 5

If there are any songs written about your destination, be sure to include those. Place them last on the CD.
