Karma works on the philosophy that every action has a consequence, and negative actions will come back to haunt you in the future.       Begin your day with a simple yoga routine. For beginners, try the downward dog, the crow and the lunge.

      Use your yoga time to strengthen and purify your body and mind. Understand that any negative feelings like hatred, egoism, jealousy or lust come from a bad place. Move past these feelings by realizing that you have everything you need right now.

      Engage in ways to help people, animals or your community. Volunteer at a soup kitchen or donate food to a charity.

      Develop compassion for others. If you see someone in trouble, try to help as best as you can or provide guidance on how and where that person can get help.

      Continue to do service until the end of your life. Purifying and preventing bad karma is not completed in one day of lending a helping hand.
