Completed terra-cotta planter
Once all these items are purchased and in your home, it is now time to begin painting. With this particular terra-cotta planter, I painted the rim in forrest green and the body in pink. Then I added some pink open circles along the green rim. For added flare, I completed the planter design with yellow vertical lines. Now, the planter is complete and ready for a lovely flower.

Completed terra-cotta planter
Here is another example of a terra-cotta planter with a yellow rim and green body, with pink zigzag on rim and pink vertical lines. These are the easiest planters to paint because the paint dries fast. It probably only takes 5 to 10 minutes for the paint to dry. Have fun painting and showing your artistic side and you can do anything you want with these terra cota planters. These are fun to paint on and show off and can even be given as gifts to family or friends.
