Using another teacher's classroom for Summer school can be easy or frustrating. Follow these simple tips for a smooth Summer school experience.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Take pictures of the classroom the second you step foot in it. This will ensure that there are no problems regarding missing items or setup. If the room is a mess when you get there you should not be expected to clean it up beyond a reasonable limit at the end of the summer.
Step2
Expect a very clean classroom. If the classroom is not very clean you should report this to an administrator immediately so that you are not blamed for the mess or expected to clean up after another teacher.
Step3
Be very careful about using someone else's computer. You will be blamed for anything that goes wrong with the computer when the other teacher returns to school.
Step4
Get a contact number of the teacher whose room you are using--just in case.
Step5
Don't make any changes that you cannot undo before the summer is over. Don't paint or move heavy items that you cannot move back.
Step6
Leave the classroom CLEANER than you found it--that is, if you would like to be welcomed back into that room.
