It could be both exciting and stressful to spend a long weekend in a city like Orlando where there is so much to do. The Disney World journey itself may consume your entire vacation time if you do not organize things properly. Here is how you can utilize 3 days in Orlando to the hilt.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Dedicate no more than 2 out of 3 days to Disney World. There is more to experience in Orlando than just the rides. Purchase tickets to Disney World online. This could save you time waiting in the line at the ticketing counter.
Step2
Choose the Disney World parks that best suit your appetite. Disney World has plenty of theme parks to choose from. Keep one day for each theme park. I suggest Animal kingdom for day 1 and the Magic Land for day 2.
Step3
Everest, the highest ride in Disney Wake up early. The parks usually open at 9 a.m. and close around 9 p.m. Enjoy the rides in the Animal Kingdom. Do not miss the highest ride in Disney, the Everest. The other main attraction in Animal kingdom is African safari where you will get to see wild life in its "Natural Habitat."
Step4
Hot air balloon ride Keep your third day for other activities. Orlando is popular for balloon rides. Do not miss this adventure. Book your balloon flights online at least a week before your trip. Balloon rides cost around $175 per person on average. Balloon rides usually start at 6 a.m. and end around 9 a.m., so you still have a full day at your disposal.
Step5
Visit downtown Orlando on day 3 after your balloon flight. Try delicious cuisines in different restaurants.

Tips & Warnings

 • Plan ahead. Book a vacation package (air tickets, hotel and the rental car) through a travel website to save money.
 •
Get "fast pass" for the rides. Fast pass is just a "scheduled appointment" for the rides. The other option is to wait in a never ending line. Waiting could be up to an hour. There is no additional fee for this service.
 •
You may also choose a chopper ride over the balloon ride.
