Facial massages are easy. They are also a quick way to reduce stress, clear sinus passages, increase circulation and reduce swelling.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Massage lotion (optional)
  1. Step 1

First, sweep your hands over the face and let your fingers gently tap on the skin. This will increase circulation.

  2. Step 2

Next, place your fingers on each side of the top of the nose. Adding a little pressure, sweep them down the nose and outward. Repeat this step several times. This movement drains the sinuses and releases any pressure there.

  3. Step 3

Place you index fingers and middle fingers on each side of the head on the temples. Apply a small amount of pressure and move your fingers in a circular motion. Do this for about a minute. This releases jaw and forehead tension.

  4. Step 4

Find the small indentation between the jaw bone and the ear with your thumbs. Gently rub it for about a minute. This will drain fluid in the ears and relieve jaw tension.

Tips & Warnings
  • Finishing you massage with a warm towel compress is heavenly.
  • Always use gentle, slow movements to avoid injury.
  • Consult your doctor if you have any health problems.
